Примечание
Фиксированная спутниковая служба может включать также фидерные линии для других служб космической радиосвязи.

ФСС
Служба радиосвязи, которая предназначена для организации информационного обмена между стационарно размещенными земными станциями. Ее назначение, характеристики и атрибуты определены ITU. В сферу, охватываемую ФСС, входит также организация связи с помощью малогабаритных терминалов типа VSAT и на базе фидерных линий (мобильные сети). Земные станции этой службы обычно используют диапазоны частот: С (6/4 ГГц), Кu (14/11 ГГц) и Ка (20/30 ГГц).
